Enterprise Archiving Innovator’s New Offering Protects, Organizes and Quickly Retrieves Social Media Data for e-Discovery, Regulatory Compliance and Other Applications.
Bossier City, La. – April 30, 2013 – Adding to its innovative enterprise archiving product lineup, ArcMail Technology, Inc. today launched ArcMail SocialTM, the first archiving solution of its kind designed to address the information governance requirements for data that is exchanged across an organization’s social sphere.
Now available, ArcMail Social gives businesses an effective and convenient way to protect, organize and quickly retrieve social media data for e-Discovery purposes and to meet important government and industry regulatory compliance requirements.

Available as an add-on module for any ArcMail Defender archiving solution – from the company’s on-premise, to its cloud storage gateway, hybrid and virtualized offerings – ArcMail Social is designed to grab everything of significance across the social networks that make up a business, from comments and likes, to posts and more. The solution captures data from the various social platforms and integrates it into archived files for access at a moment’s notice.
The archived social data also becomes exportable, meaning an IT administrator can select files, place “holds” on them and export the selected data as needed. In addition, searches can be performed by type of social platform to help users find what they need, when they need it.

Doug Arnold, IT supervisor for Tipp City, Ohio, has test driven ArcMail Social and says that the product is fulfilling an important need for the city’s IT department.
