Shreveport, La. – Feb. 1, 2012 – ArcMail Technology, Inc. today announced it has been recognized as an innovator in Info-Tech Research Group’s "Email Archiving Vendor Landscape” report. As one of only two email archiving vendors to receive this accolade, ArcMail also earned high marks for the usability, affordability and architecture of its products as well as its overall strategy and channel program.

Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscape reports recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace.  Assessing vendors by the strength of their offering and their strategy for the enterprise, Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscapes pay tribute to the contribution of exceptional vendors in a particular category.

The key takeaway from this report is the importance of preserving email history and the risks and consequences that organizations face if they don’t have the right technology in place. The report stated, “Organizations seeking a cost-effective solution that integrates with all major email platforms should look towards ArcMail Defender, an appliance platform that is quick and easy to deploy.”

According to the IT analyst firm, adoption of email archiving is increasing at a rapid pace: 58 percent of organizations surveyed currently already have an email archiving solution in place, while another 27 percent are planning to deploy within the next 18 months.
